On 28 November 2003 at Manchester United Stadium, Old Trafford Football Ground, MCASS (Manchester Chartered Accountant Students' Society, along with echm Hitchenor Maher and Jaegar, staged what continues to be the social event of the MCASS year. The event was the MCASS & ECHM Charity Fashion Dinner 2003.

Echm Hitchenor Maher have staged similar events with both the Manchester and Leeds Societies over the last few years, and through this have raised many thousands of pounds for charity. The charity chosen for the Manchester event was Francis House Children's Hospice, which is based in Didsbury in South Manchester.

After months of planning, a fantastic number of 350 dinner tickets were sold, and the majority of these within two weeks of going on sale! In total, including the backstage staff, there were approximately 450 people in attendance the evening.
